Hungarian über-drummer Gergo Borlai has been announced as the twelfth artist appearing at The UK Drum Show 2025 in association with Gretsch Drums, completing the main stage line-up for what promises to be the biggest drumming weekend of the year!
Gergo joins Thomas Lang, Naomi Forbes, Mark Guiliana, Gavin Harrison, Antonio Sanchez, Christoph Schneider, Nathan Shingler, Gabor Dornyei, Gregg Bissonette, Todd Sucherman and Eloy Casagrande all appearing over the weekend of 18th & 19th October 2025 at ACC Liverpool.

About Gergo…
Gergo is a Los Angeles/Barcelona-based professional drummer, composer, and producer originally from Hungary.
He started playing drums at the age of 3 and became a professional session/touring drummer, playing with the most successful artists in Hungary at the age of 15.
Gergo Borlai has appeared on more than 500 albums (as drummer/composer/producer), won 3 “Drummer of the Year” awards, and two “Gold Record Awards,” as well as the Golden Drumstick Prize and Fonogram’s “Jazz Album of the Year 2021.”
Gergo also took 3rd place in Modern Drummer’s Poll for “Best All-Around Drummer” in 2019, behind legendary drummers Vinnie Colaiuta and Steve Smith.
In 2020, Gergo was considered for Grammy Award nomination in two categories with his solo album The Missing Song.
In 2021, the world’s most historic drum company, Gretsch, released the Gergo Borlai Signature Snare Drum.
Besides being a band member and session/studio musician of world-renowned productions with multi-Grammy Award–winning musicians, Gergo also became a clinician/educator all over the globe.
