Background

Dream Cymbals are very exited about returning to the UK Drum Show having taken a break last year.

“Every Dream cymbal is hand-made and hand-hammered, painstakingly created from fire, base metal and human spirit to create an individual masterpiece. The hand-craftsmanship of our master smiths is apparent in every Dream cymbal.”

Launched in 2005, Dream cymbals is the partnership of passionate Canadian instrument designers and generations of Chinese gong smiths. This is the beginning of a new era of top quality instruments at prices any musician can afford.

“Watch out for some new cool stuff which we will launch at this UK Drum Show! We are expecting some very exciting new lines which will complement the ranges we already have.”

“New over the last three years has been the very successful Eclipse Hybrid cymbals, all odd sizes, 15 Hats, 17”/19” Crashes and the 21” and 23” Rides. We added Dark matter Paper Thin crashes to the Bliss range, 17”, 18” and 19”, and a 20” and 22” Dark Matter Bliss Crash rides-our Artists love them.”

“Our Artist come from so many areas of music: Jim Macaulay is playing Dream on the 50th Stranglers Tour, at the other end of the business Adam Gammage is using Dream with Tom Grennan and Ian West is on the Sir Cliff Richard tour. Ed Freitas has an amazing Cyber Drummer show, Paul Glover uses Dream with Jazz combo Scrubious Pip…Over the next few months we will be posting stories from our growing Artist roster here in the UK but also across the pond in the USA and Canada as a run up to the show.”

We will also welcome our president, cymbal designer and creator, Andy Morris,  to the show whom a few of you might have met at one of the London shows in the early 2010s.
