Soundhoops debut new microphones at The UK Drum Show 2018
The new Soundhoops microphones will be presented for the first time at The UK Drum Show. We have 2 different variants, the S-mic 101 snare and the S-mic 101 tom. Both microphones have a cardioid characteristic and are condenser microphones. We developed the microphones together with the music producer Tommy Newton especially for the soundhoops. At the show in Manchester, the drummers can play and hear the sound of our microphones simultaneously. The whole drum kit is combined with a Presonus rackmixer. Also we will present the new soundhoops. We’ve added a tilt to the microphone hole on the hoop, so the microphones always looking the center of the drum. Also new it is the 14″ bottom snare Soundhoop.
