The natural beauty of wood is why PaulE’s works are the art of percussion. Inventing and creating unique works of wooden percussive art has been PaulE’s passion since he created his first drum in 1996. They are available to you at pauledrums.com , select boutique instrument shops, and now directly from his endorsees ‘The PaulE Players’.

PaulE hand crafts his drums to your desires in mind and adds his creative touch to make your drum a one of a kind work of art. Every drum is signed and numbered by PaulE as percussive art is pushed to new heights with every piece created. PaulE is an artist who is always searching for new sounds, not only for the sake of art but for your enjoyment and the healing power that comes from music.

Each PaulE instrument is custom made to order, a unique work of art for each player. When you call the order hotline you speak with PaulE himself. You specify the wood type for the body and head, yes, it’s a wooden head! PaulE innovated djembe plywood drum heads decades ago and continues to so, utilising a variety of woods to achieve a variety of tones. You can also choose from a variety of jingle materials and finishes. He will guide you personally to help design
your own custom percussion instrument that is a unique work of art from a master artist and inventor.

PaulE has created commissioned pieces for The Field Museum of Chicago and several other art exhibitors around the world, he’d be honoured to create a piece of art just for you… “Thanks to everyone for your love and support over the past 25 years, together we will keep the beat alive”… Aloha, PaulE
