The set includes Yamaha original ball clamp tom holders to offer excellent freedom when setting the drums and add solid stability when playing. The HW680W hardware set features two locking resin cymbal tilters with felts, one professional grade hi-hat clutch, one foot pedal and one snare stand. The DTX-PRO module is an easy to use, beginner friendly module which allows you to quickly personalise your sound. Its adjustable knobs allow you to customise the room sound, compression and effects.

With a programmable metronome, versatile recording possibilities, and ten exercise programmes, the Yamaha DTX-PRO Drum Module ensures that you will never get fed up with learning grooves. And, with the high-quality headphone amplifier, neither will the rest of your household.

The perfect sounds – just seconds away

The heart of any electronic drum kit is the sound module. The DTX-PRO module features 712 different sounds, with 40 pre-set kits ready to play. Using the catalogue of sounds provided, you can create up to 200 user kits, allowing you to instantly re-call for custom set-up. The sounds on the DTX-PRO are recorded in professional studios in high resolution, with careful consideration to the attack and release of each drum and cymbal to achieve a natural and realistic experience.

Acoustic drums are massively influenced by the room that they are in. Using three knobs on the DTX-PRO, you can quickly and easily adjust the ambience, compression and effects added to each pad, creating a whole new ambient sound.

The ‘Ambience Modifier’ knob changes the environment of the chosen pad. This is achieved by controlling the amount of sampled real-room sound that is added to each drum sound. This alters the reverb, attack and decay of the chosen pad to accurately replicate the ambience sound you choose.

The ‘Comp Modifier’ adds compression to the entire kit sound. This helps each part of the drum kit to sit nicely within the mix but can create a more aggressive sound when turned up high.

The ‘Effect Modifier’ controls the audio sends and returns from the two build-in processors. This allows you to choose which pad is sent to which processor, to apply the desired effect.

Easy to follow training options

The DTX-PRO includes a programmable metronome, versatile recording possibilities, ten exercise programmes, and 35 practice songs from a range of genres. These features allow you to play, learn and practise as much as you please, across a wide range of drumming styles.

It’s easy to stereotype training sessions or virtual lessons as boring, but the exercise programmes and practice songs are designed specifically to be fun and challenging, making sure you never get bored. And, with a high-quality headphone amplifier, neither will the rest of the family.

Edit and record with Rec’n’Share

Rec’n’Share is a free app for iOS and Android which allows you to connect your module to a compatible iOS or Android device. Once connected, you can record drum performances as audio tracks or even video. After your recording is complete, Rec’n’Share offers a range of audio and video editing features, and allows you to upload your completed track or clip to social media platforms.

The DTX-PRO Drum Module is also equipped with MIDI and USB, along with audio outputs. A Steinburg Cubase AI is included on the module, making USB transfer quick and easy to record on your computer.
