Antill Made transforms traditional craftsmanship into high quality, unique snare drums designed to deliver sonic depth and aesthetic elegance.

Founded in 2024 by pro drummer & craftsman Jonathan Antill, Antill Made was born out of a strong passion for drum gear, beautiful timbers, and a desire
to always get the best sound possible out of a drum. The result is a combination of his two passions; drumming and woodwork, to create unique, custom stave drums.

Stave drums are typically made with a thicker shell due to a weaker glue joint, however, Jonathan is able to make thinner stave shells resulting in a unique sound providing more depth and resonance for a stave shell.

Working closely with each client, Jonathan brings his experience and expertise to create a design that not only fulfills the client’s desires, but shows his creative flare as well. Antill Made focusses on bringing your ideas and dream drums to life, with attention to detail and client satisfaction at the centre.

There are two options for buying an Antill Made snare drum. You can go fully custom, ordering a unique drum that you will be the first to own, or browse through previous models and request a replica. Choosing to go fully custom comes with the freedom to design and create your snare drum to be exactly how you want it. You get to decide what wood species are used, what size the drum is, the features included, you name it.

Antill Made also offers drum and cymbal repairs and modifications. As we know drum gear isn’t indestructible, and the repairs that Jonathan offers will always aim to keep as much of the original sound of the instrument as possible when making repairs.
