Hello everyone! I’m Tymur Sahitov — a young drummer from Kyiv, Ukraine.

I was born in 2017 into a family of musicians — my father is the well-known Ukrainian trombonist Oleksii Sahitov (Said). Music has been in my heart since early childhood.

I study at Kyiv Children’s Music School No. 16, in the percussion class of teacher Dmytro Khoroshun.

Drumming is my element. I love feeling the rhythm, creating energy on stage, and sharing it with the audience.

Over the past few years, I’ve had the chance to take part in many competitions and have received several awards that I’m truly proud of.

My inspiration comes from my favourite bands and artists: Jamiroquai, Snarky Puppy, 4 Non Blondes, Nate Smith, JoJo Mayer, and Al Jarreau. I’m especially fascinated by drummers like Stanton Moore and Dennis Chambers — their groove and technique inspire me to keep improving every day.

I dream of performing on big stages, meeting talented musicians from around the world, and making music together.
