Sanidhya Das – Indian Drumming Prodigy

Sanidhya Das is an 11-year-old drumming sensation from Bangalore, India, who began responding to music at just 13 months old, often tapping rhythms on utensils around the house. He started drumming at the age of 2.5 and has since shown remarkable skill, discipline, and passion.

He passed Trinity College London Grade 8 in Rock & Pop Drums with distinction at the age of 10.1 years—an achievement few attain so early. He has been consistently recognised, winning multiple music competitions over the past 4 years, including Drum-o-mania (An Indian inter-school championship) and various talent contests.

He has performed live with Indus Creed, one of India’s most iconic rock bands, at Mahindra Independence Rock (I-Rock) 2024 in Mumbai, making him one of the youngest drummers to feature at this legendary event. His progressive rock style, explosive energy on stage polyrhythms, and technical precision have impressed audiences and veteran musicians alike.

Sanidhya is influenced by drumming legends like Gavin Harrison, Jay Postones, Chris Coleman, and bands like Porcupine Tree, Tesseract, Sleep Token, Periphery, Linkin Park, Indus Creed and many more. He will be 11.5 years old when he travels to the UK Drum Show 2025, where he has been officially invited to perform on the Main Stage Mini, representing the emerging generation of Indian drummers.

Sanidhya continues to inspire music lovers of all ages and is widely regarded as one of the brightest young drumming talents in the country.
