Robert began his drumming journey at the age of 3, tapping out beats with kebab sticks on upturned boxes and tins! He received his first kit at the age of 4 and hasn’t looked back since.

His musical influences include Roger Taylor, Phil Collins, Dave Grohl, Chad Smith, Travis Barker, and El Estepario Siberiano.

In July 2022, he started having drum lessons with Chris Turton, a local teacher and professional drummer who nurtures and develops Robert’s talent for drums, introducing him to a wide range of styles and techniques.

Robert has performed at local school and church events, but performing at the UK Drum show this year will be the pinnacle of his live drumming experience so far!
