Nayara is a 15-year-old drummer from Spain who first fell in love with drums at 8, after having tried other instruments such as the guitar or piano.
Since then, she´s been single-minded in pursuing a career in drumming and percussion.

Her first drumming experience was with private tuition whilst also receiving music lessons at the local music school. She had different drumming teachers with various influences, which opened her mind to several music styles. It was here that she discovered her life´s passion, around which everything revolves and to which she dedicates all her free time.

As she gained confidence, she started playing with local groups of various styles at gigs in the Valencia area. With this valuable experience under her belt, she has slowly discovered both what she loves to play and also what challenges her, starting with pop-rock, through metal and going on to develop a fascination for jazz being the ultimate test for her growing ability.

At the moment, she is studying at the Valencia Conservatory of Music, and wants to finish her professional music degree.

Nayara is thrilled to have the opportunity to play at The UK Drum Show in Liverpool and is relishing the challenge.
