LOX explores the fusion music he grew up listening to and the artists that have influenced his musicianship and artistry.

His set is filled with intricate, melodic music, often with an orchestral feeling, drawing compositional inspiration from older, legendary musicians. This, paired with his exciting, power-packed drumming, is a recipe for eruptive compositions.

LOX began his professional career at age 16 with the steel band “Endurance Steel Orchestra.” Since then, he has worked alongside artists such as China Moses, guitarist Mansur Brown, rapper Guvna B, Wretch 32, saxophonist Casey Benjamin, Lex Amor, Tinie Tempah, and UK jazz groups Steamdown and virtuoso Trinidadian-American steel pan player Leon “Foster” Thomas, to name a few.

Every Friday and Saturday night, following the second show, Ronnie Scott’s presents the Late Late Show, where some of the UK’s finest jazz talents take to the stage for a late-night blowing session.
