Hi everyone! I’m Liam Jackson, an 11-year-old drummer from Hull, East Yorkshire.

I started playing the drums when I was 9, and over the past two years, with formal tuition, I have progressed quickly through my graded exams and am currently working towards my Grade 6.

I have always had a passion for rhythm and music, and recently I obtained a School scholarship in recognition of my musical ability.

I also enjoy performing in musical theatre shows, where I act, sing, and dance at “The Northern Academy of Performing Arts” in Hull. I always put my energy, emotion, and passion for music into every performance. I love the feeling of connecting with an audience, whether through playing the drums in a band or singing and acting on the stage.

My favourite drummers include Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Dave Grohl (Nirvana/Foo Fighters), and the fantastic John Bonham (Led Zeppelin).

I would love to perform professionally in the future, and I am thrilled and honoured to have been chosen to perform at The UK Drum Show. I look forward to meeting fellow musicians and feel this is a big step towards my creative future.
