See Hamish on Saturday at 13:50 on the Main Stage Mini
Hamish Skeoch (18 years old and is based in Woking) is a dynamic young drummer, actor, dancer, and singer whose passion for performance shines across every stage he steps onto. Fresh out of ACM Guildford, where he graduated with a Distinction in his UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma, Hamish has already begun carving out an impressive career in music, television, and film.
A drummer since the age of five, first spotted tapping rhythms at home, Hamish has grown into a versatile player, celebrated for his technical wizardry and his ability to groove across genres with empathy, sensitivity, and drive. He has been mentored (and inspired) by leading drummers including Paul Robinson, James Powell, and Toby Drummond, who have helped shape his evolving artistry.
Hamish also draws inspiration from world-class players such as Stanley Randolph, Doug Harper, and Jonathan “Sugarfoot” Moffett, whose influence can be heard in his playing and approach to groove. His professional drumming debut came in November 2024 under the musical direction of Jill Farrow (Associate Musical Director, Cabaret, Playhouse Theatre London). Since then, he has performed in productions including Amélie (Italia Conti, 2025), My Fair Lady (Kenton Theatre, 2025), and Grease (Kenton Theatre, 2025).
Alongside his drumming, Hamish is an accomplished actor with credits including The Royals (Netflix) and Casualty(BBC, 2025). He is also currently filming for a new television special set to air in 2026. When he’s not behind the kit, Hamish throws himself into acting, dancing, and singing, or he’s watching and listening to drummers who inspire him. The rest of the time, he’s most likely enjoying a meal or catching up on sleep before the next performance.
At the UK Drum Show, Hamish will share his journey as an emerging drummer and performer, bringing the same energy, versatility, and passion that mark his growing career.
