Hailing from South East London, Duayne Sanford is an accomplished & eclectic session musician, music director, programmer, and arranger who is a BSc Music Tech graduate. He has been touring and is in high demand. He was awarded a scholarship for his degree upon impressing the admissions team. He is an accredited professional in Logic Pro and has been using the DAW for over 20 years, since the days when it was available on PC, for programming, recording, and production.
His wealth of experience, desire to raise the standard of excellence & team player attitude has afforded him the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in the world playing arenas & stadiums globally. Artists ranging from Liam Payne, Rita Ora, Dua Lipa, Raye, Christine and the Queens, Honne, Kelis, Leigh Anne, JP Cooper, James Vickery, plus many more.
He has played some of the world’s biggest festivals twice over, including Glastonbury, Coachella, Global Village, Popspring, Seoul Jazz Festival, BBC Biggest Weekend, Hey Neighbour, Lolapalooza, Austin City Limits, We Love Green & Osheaga just to name a few.

Duayne is known for having a meticulous ear for sonics and making sound engineers happy. He grew up on an eclectic array of music from the Box & MTV era, from pop, soul, hip-hop, rock, through to funk and beyond. He pays great attention to detail when learning or working out parts for heavily produced songs.
He has notably played on electronic soul duo Honne’s album ‘Love me, love me not” (2018) on four tracks, ‘Day One’ which is the most popular and streamed track on the album & “Shrink”, “Feels so good” & “Crying over you”, JP Cooper’s album “Just a few fol” on tracks “Summer of Love” & “Nothing Ever Changes” and James Vickery’s album ‘James’ on track “ILU”
He was featured on two separate occasions in the French drum magazine Batterie in its February 2019 edition & July/August 2022 edition. Both a six & five page spread covers his influences, how opportunities came his way & his choice of gear.
He has done masterclasses at the UK Drumshow, London Drumshow, Yamaha DrumShow 3 in Paris & Kask & Conservatorium School of Arts Ghent, representing his endorsers.
