Carl-Johan “CJ” Hökdal, known as That Swedish Drummer, is a session and live drummer, content creator, educator, and songwriter.

With over 930,000 followers and subscribers across social media, he inspires drummers worldwide through clear, accessible educational content, making him Sweden’s biggest drum influencer today.

CJ has shared the stage with artists such as Paul Gilbert, Louise Lemón, SCARLET and Sophie Hanson, toured extensively across Europe, performed at festivals including Sweden Rock, Eurosonic, and Roadburn and hosted drum clinics, including appearances at the Dresdner Drum and Bass Festival in Germany.
