The UK Drum Show are very pleased and fortunate to have two iconic drum kits appear in the Nick Hopkin Vintage and Iconic Room.
Come and see the 1960’s Ludwig drum kit that belonged to, and was used by Alan White on the Oasis Album ‘(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?’ It was Oasis’ most commercially successful album selling in excess of 20 million copies Worldwide. The kit dates to the mid 60’s in a stunning Black Diamond, configuration 22,13,16.
Also, come and see the vintage Yamaha 9000 drum kit that belongs to, and was used by Sean Moore on the first 2 Manic Street Preachers albums, ‘Generation Terrorists’ and ‘Gold Against the Soul’. This kit was used on their early tours, TV and festival appearances. It was last seen in public at London Astoria in December 1994, when they played their last ever show as a four piece.
Further iconic and vintage gear and memorabilia will be added to this room over the coming weeks, along wth guest speakers.
