Louise Bartle is a British drummer, songwriter, producer and recording artist best known as the drummer for the alternative rock band Bloc Party. Alongside her work with the band, she has built an acclaimed career as a touring and session musician, performing with artists including Becky Hill, Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran, Lizzo and Mahalia. Throughout her career, she has also toured in support of acts including Paramore, Muse and Kaiser Chiefs, appearing on some of the world’s biggest stages, including Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds Festivals and Madison Square Garden.

Alongside her session & touring work, Louise writes, produces and performs her own music as NOVACUB, her solo project, collaborating closely with Russell Lissack, guitarist for Bloc Party. Through NOVACUB, she explores her work as a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, alongside her career as a live & session drummer.
