Info on The Clinic

Andrea Rapisarda will lead a practice pad play-along session, the format he has become known for and gone viral with on Instagram. So bring your sticks and start working on your rudiments, because Andrea will put you through your paces to see if you can keep up with his pad practices! If you want a taste of what is coming, his Instagram is full of examples, you can find a link below.

This is a session built on participation rather than spectating. Expect to lock in, follow along and feel your weaker hand complain a little, all in the best possible way. Whatever your level, the play-along format meets you where you are and pushes you a step further, which is exactly why it has struck such a chord online.

Away from Instagram, Andrea is the founder of Music Mission, a growing drum school based in East London with a simple mission: to make learning the drums fun and affordable for adults and children alike. Lessons run weekly in termly packages from just £25 per month, with group, two-on-one and one-on-one options so every student can find the right fit.

Students begin with the Music Mission syllabus, learning to read music and perform solos and songs, before progressing to the more challenging Trinity Guildhall grades as their skills develop. The school is committed to communication too, keeping parents regularly updated on their child’s progress and how best to support their practice at home.

Bring your sticks, bring your energy, and come ready to play. Andrea’s session is one to get stuck into.
