New York City-based drummer/producer Ravish Momin is known for his innovative Ableton-driven electronic drumming. Having recently been commissioned by Depeche Mode for a remix as well as having performed at the prestigious LeGuessWho? Festival (NL) and Big Ears Festival (US), Momin brings his unique approach that integrates global rhythms and forward-thinking sound design to both electronic music production as well as live performance.
Making his debut at the UK Drum Show with his command of South Indian, North African and Middle-eastern rhythms, he will show how Ableton Live can be a powerful tool for live performance that integrates his Alternate Mode FSR-based (force-sensing resistor) kit with complex live-looping and layered sound-design.
Ravish will explore creative techniques for using Ableton that will benefit both electronic drummers and producers alike.
