Hi, I’m Nikodem – a 14-year-old drummer and extreme vocal enthusiast based in Nottingham.

My drumming journey began at the age of 7 and over the years, I’ve studied under amazing mentors including Paul Mallyon, Jim Farey, and Krzysztof Klingbein.
I’m passionate about metal, metalcore, deathcore, and extreme drumming – inspired by artists like Travis Orbin, Matt Greiner, Austin Archey and Matt Garstka.

One of my proudest moments in 2023 was when my duet with James Hetfield was featured on Metallica’s official TikTok.

I kept pushing myself, growing both as a drummer and an extreme vocalist, thanks to the incredible guidance of Mateusz Sibila (Sibila Extreme Vocal).

In 2024, I took part in the Pearl ‘Fastest Hands and Feet’ challenge at the UK Drum Show 2024 — and came 1st in the fastest feet category and 2nd in fastest hands.

In 2025, I was honoured to be named one of the UK Top 40 Young Drummers of the Year, which has driven me to push even harder and explore new musical boundaries.

I also love sharing my passion for drumming on social media, where I regularly post videos and tips to inspire and encourage others to pick up the sticks and start playing. While the drum kit remains my main instrument, I also explore a variety of percussion instruments such as bongos, cajon, and bongo cajon.
