If you’re going to be at the UK Drum Show why not take advantage of one of Trinity College London’s FREE drum lessons happening throughout the weekend?

Whether you are an absolute beginner learning how to play from the wrist or a more experienced drummer looking to hone your technique and style, we’ve got a lesson that’s right for you.

We’ve teamed up with Roland who are providing electronic drum kits for the lessons and we’ll be playing songs from the popular Trinity Rock & Pop Drum syllabus during the lessons.

Our Drums song lists feature a huge range of songs spanning all contemporary styles, including ‘No One Knows’ by Queens of the Stone Age, ‘Don’t Wanna Fight’ by Alabama Shakes, ‘Uptown Funk’ by Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars, ‘Under The Bridge’ by Red Hot Chili Peppers and ‘Sir Duke’ by Stevie Wonder.

The lessons will be hosted by Trinity’s National Advisor for Rock & Pop, experienced teacher and drummer Toby Davies as well as the drummer, composer and educator JJ Wheeler.

You can book yourself in for one of the free lessons here. Make sure you pick the right level to suit your ability.

Guidelines:

Beginner would suit Initial- Grade 1

Intermediate would suit Grade 2- 5

Advanced would suit drummers who are Grade 6+
